Susan retired in February 2012 with over 29 years at John Deere. I retired in September 2011. We look forward to a long retirement ahead. We are blessed with 3 wonderful adult children and 3 beautiful grandchildren.

deployment to Afghanistan

Brad, the oldest, is a career Marine officer stationed in Arizona. He is in the midst of moving to a new duty California. Brad and his wife Amanda gave us our first grandson Jaxson. Jaxson turned 4 in June of this year.

Christine is located in the Atlanta GA area and works for Lexus Nexus as a Marketing Manager. Christine has a sidekick cat by the name of Stewart. I call him Willard so he goes by both. She enjoys the greater Atlanta area so I suspect she'll be there for some time to come.

Laura now lives in South Carolina with husband Rob and family. Laura works at home raising two beautiful daughters. Rob is a Navy officer now serving as the Commanding Officer of a Navy operation. Laura and Rob have daughters Elly and Audrey. Elly is our oldest grandchild and will be 6 in October. She started kindergarten on 24 August 2012. Audrey is our youngest and will be 3 in October also.
