Last year Susan took up quilting and really enjoys it. And she's really good at it. She tells me her favorite Quilter is my sister Nancy who is incredibly good.  In addition to classes Susan is not shy in asking questions of her sister-in-law.

Nancy convinced Susan to buy a new Bernina sewing maching last year. So now Susan gets to do the "fancy stuff".  She's still not got the equipment to match Nancy but that's alright.
 
Since we will now winter in Iowa, Susan will have plenty of time to get after a few more quilts for the family and possibly for the wounded warriors.
